Christa Lynn Knuth, 17, of Troy died Friday at home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with bone cancer.
She was born Aug. 30, 1994 in Iron Mountain, MI to Eric and Toni Knuth.
Christa was home schooled and very active in the youth group at Zion Christian Church. She was an artist who loved to draw and design fashion. She was very creative and loved music and dancing.
A memorial gathering will take place Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Zion Christian Church (3668 Livernois Rd. in Troy). A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Allies Angels or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
