Troy High School senior, Candace Sosa, has been chosen from hundreds of performing acts, to perform at this years Motown Winter Blast!

The event takes place on the weekend of February 8-10th, at and around Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit. Candace will be performing on Saturday morning, February 9th at 11:30 am, on the Michigan Lottery Stage.

Candace is an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician, and has been performing, onstage, for several years. She is thrilled at having been chosen from a long list of Detroit performers, to entertain the thousands of attendees at the Winter Blast, this year.

Motown Winter Blast features hip and cool winter events centered around Campus Martius Park.  Many signature winter activities are returning with free ice-skating in Campus Martius Park.   Join in professional skating demonstrations, see unique ice sculptures  & more!
Detroit’s music scene will be on display on two stages, with more than 50 entertainment acts performing.  Plus- you can always find a place to warm-up in our Comfort Zones. You’ll find heat every 150 feet on the Winter Blast site, including both heated tents and warming stations in local buildings.
