Dozens of Troy residents, veterans and city employees gathered at Troy Veterans Plaza Sunday morning to remember and honor all military veterans who have served – and who continue to serve.

"There are millions among us fighting for freedom," said keynote speaker Nancy Susick, a 24-year Navy Reserve veteran and current Senior Vice President of Beaumont Health System and President of Beaumont Hospital, Troy. "We must never forget what our vets experienced and sacrificed for our freedom."
