Bidding Starts at $20,598 for Troy Home Up for Auction

It's one of more than a thousand foreclosed homes and properties on the Oakland County auction block this week.

A Vermont Avenue home is one of more than 1,500 properties to be auctioned this week as part of Oakland County's land sale of tax-foreclosed properties.

The minimum bid is $20,598.16 for the single-family home, which is featured on the searchable auction listing here. It's one of four Troy properties to be listed.

Minimum bids on the county properties range from $339.40 for a piece of residential land in Pontiac to $98,775.73 for a vacant business lot in Holly.

State law requires counties to hold two auctions annually.

Here's what you need to know to participate in the auction:

  • When: 10 a.m. Monday for township and village parcels; 10 a.m. Tuesday for all cities (except Pontiac); 10 a.m. Wednesday for Pontiac listings.
  • Where: Board of Commissioners Auditorium, 1200 N. Pontiac
