Board of Commissioners Honors Troy for Being Best Small City in Michigan
The city was ranked as the top city in Michigan and 26th in the nation by CNN Money Magazine.
The following information was provided by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners.
On Thursday, Oakland County Commissioners Mike Bosnic, Robert Gosselin, David W. Potts and Gary McGillivray presented a proclamation to Troy City Mayor Janice L. Daniels and members of the City Council in recognition of the City of Troy’s selection as one of the 100 Best Small Cities in America for 2012.
The city was ranked as the top city in Michigan and was rated 26th nationally by Money Magazine. The city was recognized because of its exceptional employment, leisure, schools, public safety, cost of living and quality of life.
