Today is the day – Primary Day.

At 7 a.m., the polls open; at 8 p.m., they close. Throughout the day, registered voters will cast their ballots for candidates for Senate, Congress, State Representative, Oakland County Commissioner and several other county offices. Troy voters will also be asked to support .2 mills for the Oakland County Art Institute Authority and to renew .59 mills for the Oakland County Transportation Millage.

So, what are we asking for from you? Simple: we're asking you to show us you voted today. Prove it to us! Snap a photo of yourself with an "I Voted" sticker, upload it here and maybe even tell us why you think it's important to vote.
