Viewfinder: Troy Aquatic Center Family Fun Night
Dozens of families kept cool together Saturday by enjoying this summer's latest serving of hot weather at the Troy Family Aquatic Center.

Temperatures hovered just below 90 degrees much of Saturday as dozens of families headed to the city's aquatic center for Family Aquatic Night.
The event, which runs from 5-7:30 p.m. Saturdays, offers discounted entries of $10 for Troy families and $12 for nonresident families.
The Troy Family Aquatic Center is sure to be a popular spot this week as a massive heat wave is expected to hit much of the Midwest. While temperatures in Troy won't match the 115-degree heat index expected in southern Midwest states, local temperatures are expected to be in the lower to mid-90s for the next seven days.
Thursday's temperatures will likely be the warmest of the week, as the mercury is expected to reach the 95-degree mark.
