In Detroit, Fresh 100.3 started playing Christmas music Friday morning, and other local radio stations will soon also dust off their holiday records in preparation for seasonal Yuletide spinning.

In Troy, some area businesses and coffee shops are also already playing holiday music. But is it too early for "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" if Tom the Turkey hasn't even been stuffed?
