In the midst of an NHL lockout, several Detroit Red Wings players took to the ice Wednesday morning at the Troy Sports Center to practice for an upcoming charity game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Participating Red Wings players included Justin Abdelkader, Todd Bertuzzi, Daniel Cleary, Cory Emmerton, Johan Franzen, Darren Helm, Jonathan Ericsson, Niklas Kronwall, Jimmy Howard and more.

Saturday's "Rock Out The Lockout" game in Windsor against the Sabres will raise money for the Sparkles From Above: Reaching For A Cure. For more information, visit rockoutthelockout.com.
