Troy Schools Receives Grant for Elementary School Program

The project is one of six to receive funding from Oakland County Arts, Culture & Film grants.

Troy School District has been awarded a grant from Oakland County to bring a creative movement and dance program to 1,600 elementary school students.

The district is one of six area organizations to share more than $13,000 in grants recently awarded by the Oakland County Arts, Culture & Film through the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

The $3,000 grant will bring Kids n' Motion, an interactive program created by the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, to the elementary schools.
