WHO: Everyone is invited!
WHAT: 5k (3.1 Miles) non-competitive fundraising and awareness walk for Mothers Against Drunk Driving Michigan filled with fun activities, live entertainment, and food.
WHEN: Saturday, May 4, 2013
TIME: 8:30 am = Opening Ceremonies; 9:00 am = Walk Begins
WHERE: Oakland Mall (412 W. 14 Mile, Troy, MI, 48083) - The Oakland Mall is located at 14 Mile and John R, just east of I-75 junction. The walk takes place indoors. Enter by the main mall entrance; walk ceramonies will take place at the center of the mall.
HOW: Register: online at http://www.walklikemadd.org/detroit or call (248) 528-1745 ext. 2651; $20 registration fee for adults and $15 for youth - includes a walk t-shirt if you register by Mar. 1, 2013. (Register by Feb. 1, 2013 & receive $5 discount)
BENEFITS: Mothers Against Drunk Driving Michigan's many programs and services which follow their mission - to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking.

More About Oakland Mall Shopping Center
Oakland Mall Shopping Center is located on 14 Mile Road East of John R Road. The mall is home to numerous shops including Sears, Bath & Body Works, Subway, Sunglass Hut, Starbucks, Payless ShoeSource, Macy's, Justice, Gymboree and more. Children ages 10 and up can join Oakland Mall's Giggle Gang. Call or check the Web site for more information about Giggle Gang deals and events. Mall walkers are welcome Mondays through Saturdays beginning at 7am and Sundays at 8am.
