This blockbuster presentation explores the "The New Jim Crow," by Michelle Alexander and applies it against a recent Pew study on incarceration rates in the City of Detroit. The presentation explores the failed War on Drugs by highlighting the escalating public policy to its current evolution of a private prison system with an insatiable appetite for inmates.
