5K Run/Walk at Bloomer Park
This year's annual 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Rochester Hills Government Youth Council will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Troy.
The popular event is planned for Saturday, June 16 at Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills. The course winds through the park's scenic cross-country trails and will be chip-timed.
Beaumont Health System and Sola Life & Fitness is sponsoring the event. Funds raised from the event will make youth development and scholarships from the Boys & Girls Club available to Rochester Hills youth.
The youth council is looking for additional sponsors and donors for the event.
Entrance forms for runners and sponsors of the 5k are available in the Youth Council area of the City’s website at www.rochesterhills.org. Online registration is also available at www.goracego.com. Participants submitting entries by June 1 will receive a race T-shirt. After June 1, T-shirts will be available for entrants while supplies last.
