DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live cool jazz at a National Historic Landmark this sum
 mer. Local jazz favorite musician George &ldquo\;Sax&rdquo\; Benson retu
 rns to Meadow Brook Hall for the annual summer concert series and the Bo
 b Mervak Trio will join the lineup.\nBack by popular demand George &ldqu
 o\;Sax&rdquo\; Benson will perform Thursday\, June 21 and new to the lin
 e-up this year\, the Bob Mervak Trio\, will perform Thursday\, July 19. 
 Closing the summer series on Wednesday\, August 15 is the Oakland Univer
 sity Jazz Quartet. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. Admis
 sion is $30 per person\, which includes a main floor tour of The Hall an
 d light hors d&rsquo\;oeuvres.\nThe hors d&rsquo\;oeuvres menu includes 
 a variation the following: spinach artichoke dip with crispy pita chips\
 , corn tortilla chips with house-made salsa\, seasonal garden vegetable 
 crudit&eacute\;s with&nbsp\;savory dip\, fresh fruits and berries&nbsp\;
 with yogurt coulis and&nbsp\;mixed nuts. A cash bar will be available.\n
 Throughout the year Meadow Brook Hall hosts a variety of educational pro
 grams and special events. All proceeds from the programs support the pre
