The Troy Nature Society announces its JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS-Animal Habitats Program on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Junior Girl Scouts come and complete your nature-related badge or achievement at the Stage Nature Center.  All requirements are met, however, the badge itself is not included.  Register as an individual, scout, den, pack or troop.  Please dress for the weather as part of the program will be outside.  Leaders or chaperones attend for free and need to remain with their Junior Girl Scouts at all times.  No refunds or transfers for these programs.

Pre-registered Fee: $12.

The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center is located on the grounds of the 100 acre nature sanctuary dedicated to educating the public about the natural world.  Programs and activities are managed by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide resources and education to inspire the appreciation and preservation of nature.

Trails are open dawn to dusk year round. 

The nature center building is open:

Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4;00 p.m.

and also when scheduled programs are being offered.
