  Schools\, in partnership with Calvert Education Services and many local
  school districts\, is offering a Virtual Learning Academy Consortium (V
 LAC) for students in grades K-8 in Genesee\, Lapeer\, Livingston\, Oakla
 nd\, Washtenaw and Wayne counties whose parents have chosen to guide the
 ir education in a home-based learning environment.\nYou are invited to l
 earn about the world-renowned Calvert curriculum\, how the Virtual Learn
 ing Academy Consortium program works\, the enrollment process and meet r
 epresentatives.\nOnce enrolled\, you child will be provided\, at no cost
 \, the equipment (including computer and internet access) and materials 
 needed to participate in virtual learning using the Calvert curriculum. 
 Your child will also receive a tailored program of learning designed to 
 meet their specific educational needs and goals\, and will receive instr
 uctional oversight by highly qualified Michigan teachers.\nWe look forwa
