“Making Your Smartphone Work for You” will look at a day in the life of a smartphone/tablet user. Getting organized, managing your time, preparing for meetings, sharing through social media and providing seamless customer service may all be just a touch away. Whether you’re a Smartphone newbie or a long-time user, this program will provide tips to get you started or ideas to keep you on the path to continued success.

Learn how area professionals, from a variety of industries, use technology on a daily basis for business and personal use. Some specific items to be covered include:
• Calendars (set up, reminders, syncing)
• Email
• Client meetings and presentations
• Managing social media
• Expense reports/billing/time management
• News/financial/banking use
• Legal issues

This will be an interactive discussion led by: Peter Arvant of the law firm Stark Reagan, PC; Jordan Kotubey of International Academy of Design and Technology; and David London of Parliament Studios, a production company specializing in TV, film, and video production services. Presenters will also discuss the top apps worth using and those that aren’t worth the time you take to download them. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and/or favorite apps to swap with the group. Multiple platforms will be addressed.
