SATURDAY, JUNE 23RD 7:30 PM CONTRA DANCING IN TROY It's time for Contra Dancing in Troy. Meet at the First United Methodist Church of Troy, 6363 Livernois Rd., North of Square Lake Rd. and south of South Blvd.
$10 general admission fee includes introductory demos, snacks at intermission, plus all the great music and dancing you can handle. Mark Hillegonds calls to Pittsfield Open Band.
All dances are walked through first and no partners are required. Short tutorial beginner's lesson starts at 7:30 PM. Check out the website at www.octds.org (Oakland County Traditional Dance Society).

More About First United Methodist Church of Troy
First United Methodist Church of Troy is located at 6363 Livernois Road. The church's motto is "Gathering all generations for worship, discipleship and ministry." It has been in Oakland County for over 180 years, making it the oldest continual religious group in Oakland County. The current minister is Reverend Hal Weemhoff.
Sunday services run from 10am to 11am, with coffee hour from 11am to 11:20am. Sunday school is held from 11:20am to noon, and is available for all ages, during the school year only. Communion is the first Sunday in each month. Outreach programs, prayer and support, and educational programs for men, women and children are available.
