The Troy Nature Society presents "Insect Eaters Of The Night" for ages 6-Adult on Wednesday, August 22 at 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Stage Nature Center. The nighttime is their time, and the hunt is on! Small in size, but big on appetite, these voracious critters swim through the soil, use in-flight sonar, venomous saliva and other extrasensory equipment to catch insects and other invertebrates. Just who are these fabulous furry critters? Join us on a warm summer's evening and find out!
Indoor information will be followed by an evening hike. For outdoor comfort, light long pants, light long-sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes and bug spray are optional.

More About Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center
The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center is located on the grounds of the 100 acre nature sanctuary dedicated to educating the public about the natural world. Programs and activities are managed by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide resources and education to inspire the appreciation and preservation of nature.
Trails are open dawn to dusk year round.
The nature center building is open:
Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4;00 p.m.
and also when scheduled programs are being offered.
