Troy Gymnastics Expands with Third Location in Troy

Toby and Julie Buechner opened Troy Gymnastics in January 2006. They began with a 29,000 sq. ft. building at 1600 W. Maple Road.  Within four years Troy Gymnastics became the largest gym in Michigan.  Summer 2012, Troy Gymnastics expanded with a 10,000 sq. ft. building next door to their original facility at 1705 Blaney.  TG2 services children ages 1 – 5 years of age and TG1 houses ages 6 through advanced teens and tumbling classes.

Summer 2013, Toby and Julie purchased 1921 Northwood, a 42,000 sq. ft. building, which now houses all the competitive gymnasts (girls, boys and trampoline & tumbling teams). TG3 officially opened Monday October 21, 2013 with rave reviews.  Double the size of the first building's gym, TG3 has quadrupled the pit space, and added four in-ground trampolines, three spring floors, 17 sky lights, 400 linear feet of viewing with almost 100 interior windows, plus state-of-the-art equipment.

Troy Gymnastics is a great addition to the Troy community, and we applaud their foresight in seeing a definite need for a facility catering to gymnasts of all ages. Troy Gymnastics serves close to 4,000 kids each week and offers wonderful opportunities for children of all ages to excel in the field of gymnastics.  Troy Gymnastics is another great example of a business investing in the City of Troy.  Toby and Julie Buechner’s commitment to this expansion is yet another reason why Troy is such a desirable place for families and businesses.
