Shop at Barnes & Noble to Support Troy Public Library This Season

Find out how you can get some of your holiday shopping done while contributing to the library.

The following information was provided by the City of Troy.

Beginning Cyber Monday, Nov. 26, and ending on Sunday, Dec. 2, if you shop at any Barnes & Noble store nationwide and present the cashier with a special voucher (also attached to this story), a percentage of the sale will be donated by Barnes & Noble to the Troy Public Library.

If you choose to shop online instead, you can still participate in the fundraiser by entering the bookfair ID 10798981 at checkout.

And, as vouchers will be honored nationwide in stores and online, feel free to share this opportunity with friends and family! This is a great way to support the Library while supporting a community partner.

In celebration of this fantastic week-long fundraiser, on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., the Library will be hosting a Holiday Bookfair at the Barnes & Noble Troy location on John R and 14 Mile Road. Stop by to participate in a children's craft, get your face painted, listen to live music by Troy High School bands, and stock up on your holiday gifts.

As part of the Bookfair, the Barnes & Noble café will be selling whole cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory. Order your cheesecake on Dec. 1 and a portion of your sale will go toward the Library’s fundraiser.
