Maureen Finnigan, who owns the Tim Hortons on Rochester Road just north of Big Beaver, opened her newest Tim Hortons restaurant Thursday morning with help from Mayor Dane Slater, city officials and her husband, John Mara.
Positioned just to the west of Bahama Breeze on Big Beaver Road between Livernois and Rochester roads, the new Tim Hortons is just 0.8 miles around the corner from her current restaurant, which will also remain open.
Tim Hortons in Troy is a popular location for local fundraisers, including the Boys and Girls Club Camp Day fundraiser.
