5 Things to Know This Week: City Offices Closed, Last Chance to Visit Santa, Blood Drive

Here's the scoop on what's happening in Troy for the week of Dec. 24.

1. Troy City Hall, Library and Community Center will be closed Dec. 24 and 25. Normal hours will resume on Wednesday. Trash pick-up will also be delayed one day this week.

2. Monday is the last day to see Santa Clause this year! Bring your kids to get their photos taken at Somerset from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Oakland Mall from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

3. The Troy Rotary will hold their weekly luncheon on Wednesday at noon at the Bank of America Executive Dining Room. The cost is $13 and includes delicious food, networking and guest speakers.

4. Give the gift of life this holiday season and stop by the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Troy Community Center Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

5. Minimize holiday stress with a free yoga class at Lululemon at the Somerset Collection on Sunday. Bring a mat and get ready to stretch during the 11 a.m. session in store which is led by an experienced local yoga instructor.
