Enter Patch's 'Deck the House' Contest for a Chance to Win $100,000 for Troy Schools!

Have you decorated your house for the holidays this year? Enter our "Deck the House" contest and you could win $100,000 for your local school district and $500 to pay your electric bills!

We've officially launched our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America — the best “decked” house in the country — the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s.

If this sounds like your house, then upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from now through Dec. 16!

Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Patch will pay up to $500 of the utility bill for each finalist, while our national winner will have $100,000 donated to his or her local school district.

Now’s the time to get your holiday decorations out of the attic and “deck” your house. After all, ‘tis the season!

Where are the best decorated houses in Troy?

That's a good question, Mack. I honestly don't drive around Troy at night, so I don't have the answer. Maybe I'll ask our readers on Facebook!

The second video can be found on Saffron Drive in Troy (north of Long Lake/east of John R)...

You're kidding!! That's amazing! Is that your house? Don't forget to enter it on our contest page (not just here) or it's not officially entered in our contest: http://deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/troy Thanks for uploading that! :)

There is a house just off Livernois and Big Beaver Rd that always does a really impressive job on their lights. I believe it is on Troy Street.

Just entered Club Hendo, it's nowhere near as elaborate as the ones shown above, but It lights up our little corner of Troy. And I probably should mention, I didn't do any of it, my wife is single handedly the cause of the brown outs in our neighborhood.
