PATRIOT DAY CELEBRATION
The Rotary Club of Troy, Michigan will be honoring veterans
from all American wars on Wednesday, September 11, at 12 Noon, in the Bank of
America atrium. A select Honor Guard will present the Posting of Colors. A flag
folding ceremony will be held, which is normally performed at fallen soldier’s
memorial services.
The public is
invited to witness the ceremony and then join the Troy Rotary Club immediately
afterwards for our weekly meeting.
The keynote speaker of the luncheon is Jerry Moore. He will speak about
the plight of homeless veterans in our area. There is no charge to attend the
Atrium ceremony. The cost of the lunch and program is $15. The Bank of America Building is located
in Troy at 2600 W. Big Beaver Road, just East of Somerset North.
