Troy Historical Society Sponsors Antiques & Collectibles Appraisal Fair

The Troy Historical Society is holding an Antiques & Collectibles Appraisal Fair on Sunday, October 6 from 1-4 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 6363 Livernois.

A team of seven experienced appraisers will evaluate antiques such as jewelry, books, china, glass, housewares, musical instruments, needlepoint, metal, silver, pottery, oil paintings, prints, toys, fine art, military items, furniture, baseball cards and sports memorabilia.  Detailed photographs can be brought of large pieces of furniture.. 

“This is a terrific opportunity to support the Troy Historic Village while discovering the value of family heirlooms, collectibles, and much more,” Historic Village Executive Director Loraine Campbell said.

The fees are $5 for verbal appraisals and $20 for informal written appraisals.  Proceeds benefit the Troy Historical Society/Troy Historic Village.  For more information, call the Troy Historic Village at 248.524.3570.
