Community Update

Let me start by stating clearly , that I am a member of this congregation .

When I first came to this church in the early 1970s , it was a loving , caring church . I attended for about a year , before returning to Central Michigan University .

About 5 years ago , my daughter , and her family moved just down the street from this church . It was over 2 hours of driving to keep the kids in the church that we had been attending . We decided to attend several churches in the area , and we started out with this one . We never got to try any of the other churches . My grand kids absolutely LOVED the people in this church , and the people of this church loved them right back .

My church family are just that ......... a FAMILY to us .

I have been lucky enough to have found one church family after another , for my whole life . While the United Methodist Church is not perfect , they are good , caring , loving , kind people ; and this congregation is as good as the very best !!!
