He may not yet be dashing through the snow, but Santa Claus visited Troy on Wednesday night.
The annual tree lighting ceremony at Veterans Plaza in City Hall included the Athens High School and Smith Middle School choirs, under direction of Michele Marszalkowski, and the Troy High Colt Drumline.
Despite the drizzly weather, over 100 hardy children had the opportunity to sing and visit with Santa.
