Insider Guide to Voting in Troy

Tuesday's Election is coming up fast!
Polls are open Tuesday, November 5, from 7am to 8pm in Troy.

What if you cannot make it to the polls on Tuesday?
You have the option to vote by Absentee Ballot BEFORE Tuesday.

How? You can stop by the Troy City Clerk's Office at 500 West Big Beaver. You fill out a quick Absent Voters Application form - and they can hand you your ballot on the spot! You can vote it right there and turn it in. Your duty as an American in this election will be complete!

Troy City Clerk Hours (located in the upper level of City Hall, 500 West Big Beaver):
Wednesday: 8am-4:30pm
Thursday: 8am-4:30pm
Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Saturday: 10am-2pm (special hours for voting only)
Sunday: CLOSED
Monday: 8am-4:30pm
Tuesday: Vote at your Polling Location 7am-8pm.

If you have more questions about the voting process or your regular polling location - call the City Clerk's office at 248-524-3316.

Who should you vote for?
That's a personal decision.
Personally - I am voting for City Council: Ellen Hodorek & Ed Pennington. You can vote for a 3rd person - but those are the two I have most confidence in. They are good, sane, smart people. They care about Troy. They are quality decision-makers.

I am voting YES for the School Bond issue - because the district presented a solid outline of what the money is for. They include important maintainence issues. The school district is financially conservative and doesn't waste money.  Strong, clean, maintained schools support the families within our community as well as property values. It's just common sense to be a YES on this one!
