Men fight in Oakland Mall bathroom

A 19-year-old Warren man said he was assaulted by an acquaintance and two other men inside a bathroom stall at on Thursday evening.

The man said he was kicked and hit several times, though he refused medical treatment, according to a media release from the police department. Officers spoke with an 18-year-old Sterling Heights man who said the victim started the fight, and he was only defending himself, according to the report.

Motorcycle stolen from side of freeway

A man who had left his broken-down Harley Davidson motorcycle on the side of Interstate 75 near Rochester Road on Thursday evening returned later that night to find it missing, according to a police report.

Men arrested for disorderly conduct outside Ocean Prime

Troy Officers arrested two men Wednesday night after they were found to be highly intoxicated and causing a scene in the parking lot of after a friend had taken away their car keys, according to a report from the police department.

Both men were yelling, and one had urinated on the parking lot in view of motorists passing by on Coolidge Highway. According to the report, officers attempted to get the men home in a taxi, but one refused to get in the cab and began swinging at officers while the other got out of the cab and slapped away the officers' hands.

The 36-year-old Bloomfield Township man and the 36-year-old Southgate man were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Pop bottle bomb explodes outside Troy home

A resident on the 2000 block of Renshaw reported hearing a large explosion outside his home just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He found an exploded pop bottle bomb on his front lawn, according to a police report.

The is investigating the incident, and there are no suspects at this time.
