Police Blotter: Home Invasions, Car Missing From I-75 Ramp and More

Auto theft
A woman reported her 1998 Dodge Neon was stolen sometime between 3:30-6:45 p.m. Friday from a ramp from Interstate 75 to Big Beaver Road. The woman told police she had a flat tire and parked the vehicle on the ramp. When she returned it was missing.
Home invasions
- A resident in the 3000 block of West Big Beaver reported burglars damaged a rear pedestrian door and entered the home sometime between 7:50 a.m.-3:10 p.m. Friday. The victim told police that cash, coins, fine jewelry, costume jewelry, a sports card collection, stainless flatware, three guitars, two amplifiers and a guitar tuner were stolen.
- A resident in the 2000 block of Chalgrove reported someone broke the front door of the home sometime between 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and ransacked the home. No items were reported stolen.
- Officers responding about 2:15 p.m. to the report of a burglar alarm in the 6000 block of Montclair arrived to find pry marks on the front door. The resident reported two jewelry cases stolen from a second-floor bedroom.
Breaking and entering
Police responding to an alarm about 11:20 p.m. on Monday arrived to Midcoast Studio, 2626 Industrial Row, to find an entry door window shattered on the west side of the building. Two computers were reported stolen.
Fraud incident
A man who purchased a cellular phone about 11:30 a.m. Monday from a person who advertised the item on an Internet site told police the phone was stolen. The man told police he met the seller at a parking lot in the 3000 block of John R and paid $375 for the phone. When he attempted to activate the phone he was advised it had been reported stolen.

Drug incidents
Police arrested a 15-year-old Troy male about 9:25 a.m. Friday after being summoned to , 4777 Northfield Parkway, to the report of a summer school student selling marijuana to other students.
Malicious destruction of property
- Police said a glass entry door on the northwest side of , 1333 Hamman, was shattered sometime between 3 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday. No entry was gained.
- Police said a window was shattered at the front of sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.
