Police Still Investigating Sunday Crash that Killed Madison Heights Woman

No charges have been filed against the driver as of Friday morning, police say.

The Sunday afternoon crash that killed a 52-year-old Madison Heights woman is still under investigation, Troy Police Capt. Robert Redmond said Friday morning.

There has been "no decision made as to any charges yet," he added.

The woman was killed Sunday afternoon when she was struck by a car in the Atlas Market parking lot. The driver, a 68-year-old Troy woman, was backing out of her parking space when she struck the woman, who was walking to meet her children at her car, according to Redmond.
