Police to Target Aggressive Drivers on I-75 in Troy

The blitz is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Police will be out in force Tuesday searching for aggressive drivers on I-75 in Troy and further north, according to a report in the Detroit Free Press.

The Southeast Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT) is planning the enforcement blitz from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along I-75 from 14 Mile Road in Troy to Baldwin Road in Auburn Hills, according to the report.

The SOCCIT team is comprised of crash investigators from Auburn Hills, Troy, and Bloomfield Township. In February, the team was recognized by the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police for its resource sharing and traffic incident management program.
