Troy Police: Body Found Wednesday is Missing Detroit Man

The Oakland County Medical Examiner has ruled the 55-year-old man's death a suicide, police say.

Troy police confirmed Thursday afternoon that the body found Wednesday in a wooded area in Troy belongs to a 55-year-old Detroit man who was reported missing on Oct. 4.

The Oakland County Medical Examiner has ruled the man's death a suicide, Troy Police Capt. Robert Redmond said.

The man's body was discovered Wednesday near Dequindre and Big Beaver roads by construction workers who were clearing trees to prepare for new construction in the area.
