Troy Police Officer and K-9 Partner Graduate from Patrol Dog Academy

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Troy Police Officer Adam Sinutko and his K-9 partner, Kilo, graduated from the Oakland Police Patrol Dog Academy. The academy is hosted by the Oakland Community College CREST police training center. The academy is a five-week, intensive training course with training in: tracking, narcotics detection, building searches, area searchers, obedience, agility, article search, and aggression control. 

Officer Sinutko noting the challenging nature of the intensive training also has enjoyed the amount of knowledge acquired in the academy with his partner Kilo.

"It is amazing to see the intelligence of these dogs and what they are capable of learning," he said. "It has been very rewarding working with K9 Kilo and to see his progression throughout the academy. I am thankful for this opportunity and honored to be K-9 handler with Troy Police Department."
