Police Blotter: Vehicle Keyed at Somerset; Man Smuggles Louis Vuitton Shoes in His Pants

Following are highlights from recent Troy Police Department reports:
Somerset shopper's car scratched
A woman who parked her vehicle at on Monday morning called Troy Police after discovering someone had "extensively" keyed the driver's side of her vehicle while she was shopping.
The woman said that when she parked, she was yelled at by another woman who said she had been waiting for the parking space for 20 minutes, according to a Troy Police report.

Distracted driver rear-ends vehicle
A driver who rear-ended another vehicle near Rochester and Wattles roads shortly after midnight Monday said he was reaching for his cigarettes when he hit the car in front of him, according to Troy Police.
The driver was not injured, though the four passengers of the other vehicle received minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.

Argument breaks out at church
Troy Police officers responded early Monday morning to on reports of a fight in progress. When they arrived they discovered several subjects arguing. The hall manager said two men had been arguing inside, so he asked everyone to leave. Officers cleared the area.
Xbox stolen from home
A resident of the 1000 block of Enterprise reported his Xbox and accessories stolen Tuesday. There were no signs of forced entry and no suspects.
Catalytic converters, bowling balls stolen from vehicles
Two people reported their catalytic converters stolen while they were at work. One incident occurred Monday on the 550 block of Stephenson Highway; the other Tuesday on the 1400 block of East Maple Road.
Bowling balls, bags and some cash was also stolen from a vehicle parked at i on Wednesday afternoon.
Man steals Louis Vuitton shoes, conceals them in his pants
An employee at the store at reported Tuesday afternoon that a man had selected a pair of shoes from a display area, then concealed them in his pants before leaving the store.
