Woman, Upset Over Nachos, Squirts 7-Eleven Employee with Ketchup

Troy Police then arrested the woman on two unrelated warrants.

When a Troy Police officer pulled into a Troy 7-Eleven parking lot just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, he was met by the store's clerk and a customer, who came out into the parking lot following a dispute.

According to a media release from the Troy Police Department, the clerk then explained to the officer that the customer, a 29-year-old Pontiac woman, had squirted him with ketchup inside the store.

"Apparently, the 29 year-old Pontiac female was upset that they didn’t have hot sauce for her nachos," the media release stated.

The 7-Eleven clerk did not ask to press charges, but asked that the woman leave the premises. Officers then arrested the woman on two outstanding traffic warrants.

Good news for Troy. And hopefully they'll be hiring some new workers, too.
