Wyandotte Police I.D. Man at Bottom of Detroit River as Missing Person from 2003

Wyandotte police confirmed suspicions Wednesday that a body recovered from the Detroit River on Aug. 15 is that of former Wyandotte resident Thomas Daniel Lange, who had been missing since 2003. The body was headless and badly decomposed, and investigations into the cause of death have been inconclusive.

On Saturday, a Ferndale man on a bike yelled racial slurs, pulled down his shorts and held his penis in his hand after he was hit from behind by another bicyclist, according to Ferndale police. The man faces charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

On Sunday, an Oakland Township man was arrested after witnesses reported that he was masturbating in his car near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Lewiston.

Daniel Ferguson, whose cousin is married to Kwame Kilpatrick's sister, faces additional charges in St. Clair Shores for driving a stolen truck. Ferguson was originally arrested in July by police after he was found sleeping in the driver's seat of his truck at a green light at Harper and 11 Mile.
