LWV to Host Forum for County Commissioner Candidates

Candidates from County Commissioner Districts 11, 16 and 20 have been invited to the Oct. 10 forum in Clawson.

Candidates for Oakland County Commissioner Districts 11, 16 and 20 have been invited to appear at a candidate forum at Clawson City Hall (425 N. Main Street) on Wednesday, Oct. 10. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The candidate forum is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Troy Area and is free and open to all members of the public. County Commissioner Districts 11, 16 and 20 cover at least the communities of Troy and Clawson.

All candidates will have a chance to make opening statements before answering audience questions, which can be submitted in writing on cards provided at the forum.

The candidates for the 11th District are Robert Gosselin (R-Troy) and Louise Schilling (D-Troy). Candidates for 16th District are Mike Bosnic (R-Clawson) and Tim Burns (D-Clawson). Candidates for District 20 are Antoine Delaforterie (R-Troy) and Gary McGillivray (D-Madison Heights).
