Mickey Mouse Gets Nod as Write-In Presidential Candidate in Troy
Troy City Clerk Aileen Bittner said the famous cartoon mouse makes it onto the ballot every election. Find out who else got write-in votes this past Tuesday.
In addition to Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, a handful of write-in presidential candidates also received votes from Troy residents on Tuesday.
"There is always Mickey Mouse, every single election," Troy City Clerk Aileen Bittner said. "And because of California, I’m sure, Roseanne (Barr) was written in for president."
Bittner added that Ronald Reagan is a popular write-in choice in Troy, "even posthumously."

Meanwhile, in Stark County, OH, write-in candidates included Eric Cartman, Jesus, Tim Tebow and Chuck Norris, among many others, according to CantonRep.com.
