UPDATE: Troy City Council voted 4-3 to that caps the federally-funded transit center project at $6.27 million.

Troy City Council will again deliberate the fate of the proposed multi-modal transit center in a special meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. tonight in council chambers at Troy City Hall.

Council, which for the design of the multi-modal transit center on Dec. 19, was scheduled to vote on a submitted by Councilman Dane Slater on Jan. 9. The revised proposal reduces the cost of the transit center from $8.4 million to $6.27 million.
