Troy Daze have come and gone!

City of Troy

Troy Daze have come and gone! Boy oh boy was it fun! I was able to attend Troy Daze on Saturday. The entertainment I saw was the Velvet Krush band, they played a variety of age appropriate music which was a feel good time. I also saw a Hypnotist, who had a panel of volunteers of different ages. His performance was good, clean, family fun. He also sold cd's of promises of weight loss, and confidence building tools. The food available was delicious and priced fair. We choose food from Orchid Cafe that is right here in Troy, on Rochester Road. It sure hit the spot! There was a variety of businesses giving a glimpse of their wares. My friend received a free blood pressure check and a massage. And I was able to talk with a State Farm agent about quotes on my insurance something I was in the market for. Checking out the farm and unusual animals was interesting. There was food available to purchase to feed the farm animals. Which, I thought was a good idea. Carnival rides were also there for your amusement, which was a big hit for my teenage children as way as their friends. All and all it was good, clean, fun and I do mean clean. The grounds were in great shape, no mess, no pesky bugs, and clean port a potties. Security was visible and I saw no troubling moments. That is always a plus for a fun time. Our evening ended with a wonderful display of fireworks and patriotic songs streaming the air waves. There was a small entry cost and parking on site. As the crowds increase excess parking was directed off site. This event is well worth visiting with family and friends. Good job Zion church and staff see ya next year for sure!
