Huron Clinton Metro-Parks  Wednesday, June 27, 9-10 a.m.

The Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, a regional park system created in 1940 by the citizens of Southeast Michigan, provides excellent recreational and educational opportunities while serving as stewards of its natural resources. The natural diversity of the Metroparks is reflected in the number of unique habitats, animals, and plants found throughout the parks. Jack Liang, Metroparks’ Community Relations Administrator, will explain your five county regional park system which has 13 parks, 24,000 acres, with hike-bike trails, nature centers, farms, lakes and streams, 10 golf courses, picnic areas, and much more.
