Troy Traffic Jam Returns to Columbia Center on Sunday

The classic car show promises to deliver chrome, muscle and music this Sunday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The City of Troy’s fifth annual classic car show, , will roar into the Columbia Center this Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Classic car owners may register their cars after 8 a.m.

Come and see shining chrome and gleaming paint as a variety of classic automobiles, hot rods and muscle cars will be featured at the show, or take a glimpse at what the future holds in store for the automotive industry with an assortment of innovative concept cars.

Vehicles will be judged for prizes in over 15 categories, as well as Best of Show! The $20 fee for each vehicle includes goodie bags, prizes and dash plaques. 

Proceeds from this year's Troy Traffic Jam benefit the Troy Historical Society and . This event combines all of the fun and excitement of traditional car shows with the addition of classic oldies music from DJ Bob Steel and delicious food from Gateway Deli and .  will also bring their truck and serve free coffee and timbits in the morning. Troy Traffic Jam t-shirts will also be on sale at the event.

Major sponsors are Kirco, Columbia Center, The Suburban Collection, Kelly Services and Somerset Collection. Additional sponsors include Master Auto Service, SE Michigan Buick Club of America, EM Schroeder Insurance, Detail LLC, The Woodward Warehouse.
