State of Michigan Court of Appeals Clerk's Office
The Michigan Court of Appeals Clerk's Office located on the eigth floor of the Columbia Center services District II of the Court and is one of four clerk's offices maintained by the state's Court of Appeals.
The District II Clerk's Office handles general information requests and filings for the Court of Appeals. The Court recommends questions about specific cases under consideration be directed to the district office in which the case file is located.
The main function of the clerk's office is to move appellate papers through the Michigan Court of Appeals efficiently as prescribed by the Michigan Court Rules. The clerk's office can't offer legal advice on any matter.
