Wattles Creek Condominiums is a collection of quaint and quiet condos tucked in the corner of 1-75 and West Wattles Road, conveniently located near the I-75 expressway for fast access and only a few miles from downtown Troy. Units range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom family style floorplans. All units have washers, dryers and dishwashers. The complex is surrounded by trees and if it wasn't for the sign out front, visitors might drive past not knowing it's there. Driving through the small neighborhood evokes a sense of privacy and calm. Wattles Creek Condominiums is a peaceful place to live in Troy.

Wish we could move, but we're upside down in the mortgage and we're told by the association we're not allowed to rent to anyone, even though they have units they've repossessed that THEY rent out. The place is run by elderly policers who chew you out for not attending association meetings, and flag you down in the street if you go 3 miles over the 25mph speed limit. They've installed a speed monitor and now a speed bump that they keep extending so there's no way to swerve around to avoid wear on even one of your tires. They charge as much as a small apartment in association fees each month, which they use to fix up the units... however they start every project from the front (where, conveniently, ALL the elderly association directors live...) to back in the complex, and take YEARS to complete them. So while we pay as much as everyone else, since we live near the back it will take them THIRTEEN YEARS to update the siding on our building and paint it. 13!! Which means if we DO list our home, we're stuck here while everyone buys up the new pretty condos up front for the next decade. Avoid getting sucked in here. You'll never get out.
