It turns out that Double Mocha Macchiato in your hand not only says something about you – it also says something about where you live in Michigan. If you are carrying a mermaid-emblazoned cup, you are more likely to live in one of the state’s politically blue counties and there’s a good chance there’s a university nearby. There are 11 Starbucks stores in Troy, including locations inside Beaumont Hospital, Macy's stores at Oakland Mall, Target and two kiosks in Somerset Mall. There might be more Starbucks stores in Troy than in any other Michigan city. This young female cat is available for adoption at Almost Home Animal Rescue League in Southfield.
Meet Lexi, our Pet of the Week. Lexi is a young (less than a year old) long-haired female cat currently available for adoption with Almost Home Animal Rescue League in Southfield. She "makes quite an impression on everyone she meets," according to Almost Home. "She is the stealth cat of Almost Home and will just magically appear, at your feet, under your hand or on your lap after she scopes out the situation and realizes all is OK," the rescue writes.
