The holidays are certainly a magical time of year, and we are proud to have been a part of many of the holiday preparations and celebrations in Troy over the past few weeks. Christmas is tomorrow, and along with Christmas comes traditions. Some people open up presents on Christmas Eve, indulge in Chinese food for dinner, attend a candlelight church service or go caroling. The North American Aerospace Defense Command has a website that now offers a Santa tracker mobile app to follow the jolly man's magical flight.

Have some last-minute shopping to do? Have no fear – Troy's two malls are both open on Christmas Eve. Here are their hours. The Somerset Collection The collection will open Monday, Dec. 24 at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. There will also be a special send-off for Santa Claus starting at 2 p.m. in the North Grand Court. I got an Acer Chromebook. Didn't ask for it and am not sure it will be useful for me. Kind of scratching my head over what niche market it is supposed to fulfill, it's not a laptop (on-the-go PC) nor a tablet (which would be useful for digital magazines and newspapers). more ›
