Program gives parents valuable information on some of the hazardous trends facing kids.
Sexting. Planking. Purple drank. I-dosing. What? Never heard these terms? Well, if you are a parent of a tween or teen, you may want to consider learning what these and other hazardous activities are all about. Unfortunately, chances are good that your kids already know this and a lot more. “Your kids are already award of these things and they are already making choices on these situations,” said Leonette Ciepielowski, Chairperson of Troy Youth Assistance. The Troy Youth Assistance is sponsoring a Nov. 8 program called “Trends, Friends, and Fatal Ends,” at the Troy Police and Fire Training Center, located on John R, south of Long Lake Rd.
