Carol Lundberg, Neighbor

Carol Marshall Lundberg built up her journalism chops at community newspapers in the late 1990s. Covering communities from Belleville to Canton to Livonia and Troy, she spent the next decade digging up news and reporting stories that would entertain, educate, and in some cases activate readers in Wayne and Oakland counties.<br><br>She eventually left the glamorous lifestyle of covering city council meetings that often ran late into the night, and where coffee is a line item in household budgets. She entered the even more glamorous lifestyle of niche publications and business news, where the reporters work daytime hours and enjoy the privilege of being able to write off business lunches as a legitimate work expense.<br><br>When she&#39;s not writing news, Carol is usually cooking and canning, knitting, making a mess of the house, dreaming of her next vacation, and catching up on recorded episodes of Mad Men and True Blood.<br><br>Carol lives in Farmington Hills with her husband Alex, teenage son Jonathan, and English bulldog Georgie Girl.
